ฟ้อนต์เทอดไทย ที่ตั้งชื่อว่าเทอดไทย นี้มีความหมายเป็นสองนัยยะ นัยยะแรกเป็นความหมายตรงๆที่คนไทยทุกคนรู้ลึกๆ (Deep Insight) เมื่อได้เห็น ได้ใช้ ได้อ่าน ผู้ออกแบบเองก็ต้องการให้ผู้ใช้ ได้นำไปใช้อย่างเข้าใจ ทราบความหมายแฝงที่ซ่อนไว้และจะได้นำไปใช้อย่างถูกกาลเทศะ รู้เหมาะรู้ควรที่จะนำไปใช้สร้าง ข้อความข่าวสาร วันเวลา เทศกาล งานกิจกรรม รวมทั้งใช้กับสถานที่ที่ต้องการสื่อความหมายกับผู้อ่านผู้รับรู้ได้ ผู้ออกแบบก็คาดหวังว่า ในงานออกแบบตัวอักษรและตัวพิมพ์นี้คงพอจะได้สร้างประโยชน์ด้านการรับรู้เอกลักษณ์แห่งความเป็นไทย เกิดสั่งสมประสบการณ์สำนึกร่วม แห่งความเป็นชาติไทยได้บ้าง และอีกนัยยะที่สองคือเป็นการใช้ชื่อของหมู่บ้านที่เป็นบ้านเกิดของผู้ออกแบบเอง ที่มีความหมายดีและตรงกับสำนึกแห่งบ้านเกิด คือ บ้านเทอดไทย ตำบลเทอดไทย อำเภอธวัชบุรี จังหวัดร้อยเอ็ด
